I work on one side of the Longfellow Bridge and lived on the other side, so every day I walked across it twice. I always admired the view on the bridge. Five months of crossings in, I decided to start collecting them.
Here is the spot where I took the photos.
Over time, I realized this collection is an incredibly study of how water reflects light. The clear nights are vibrant; the overcast nights are muted yellow and high contrast; the choppy water scattered and elongated the reflections of building lights on windy nights; and the river was a mirror on still nights.
